In the beginning…
Whether creationist or evolutionist in your beliefs, one incontrovertible fact is that life is self-improving. Whether you believe mankind has been around for a few thousand, or a few million, years, we know that over time we adapt to our environment to live better and longer lives. Part of our increased life expectancy comes from greatly improved healthcare. Part comes from development of an increasingly complex biochemistry – or more accurately, an increasing chiral chemistry.
The chemical processing plant we call our ‘body’ is called upon today to metabolize and produce more complex biochemicals than was the case with our ancestors. Evolutionary refinement involves increasing need for discernment between differently oriented compounds (chiral evolution), selecting the good, and fighting the bad. This is just one of the factors contributing to the increase “free radical” load on our systems these days.
Things are not as simple as they used to be
In addition to the environmental free-radicals we now know so much about, our bodies actually produce their own free-radicals (reactive oxygen species) as a way of fighting ‘invaders’; they are part of our immune response and, to many people’s surprise perhaps, not all free-radicals are bad; a certain amount are even necessary.

Completely Free of Any Preservatives
There are no artificial preservatives of any kind used in iSO-Care™ products, so they will certainly not last forever on our shelf or yours. We recommend that all iSO-Care™ products be used up within one year of purchase (of course, you will love them so much they would never sit idly on your shelf for any long period of time!)
We do not ‘petrify’ the cutting edge ingredients by any elaborate system of synthetic preservatives. They are just what we claim – ACTIVE, with their molecular frequencies intact.
Active chiral compounds outside of living organisms will eventually reach an equilibrium stage whereby half of the molecules will eventually ‘change handedness’ over time. For the ingredients we use that time averages about one year, after which the products are still ‘good’ but will not have the same level of activity as when they are fresh. In other words, they become more like other products you may have used before.
Our best advice? Use these wonderful products regularly so they stay fresh.
Layering for compound benefits
Layering simply means using a combination of products to achieve the desired results. Sometimes you cannot effectively combine certain active ingredients into a single formulation; sometimes you want to be able to control the synergy of products used in combination.
Using a layering technique allows you to benefit from the combined effects of different actives and maintain the correct skin stimulation. For example, after cleansing you would add a toner, then perhaps one or more serums, and finish with a gel or cream. Each layer assists and compounds the effects and benefits of the previous layers.

Varying your skin’s diet
Just as you cannot live happily on a single food source, your skin appreciates a healthy, varied, and balanced ‘diet’. One regimen cannot supply your skin with its every need through changing circumstances, seasons, and exposures.
However well formulated any product may be, our bodies ‘get used to’ things eventually. Using the same health program or skin care products, over time, will eventually produce lowered results.
Have you ever changed your skin care regimen and noticed a sudden change in the way your skin reacted, only to be again disappointed after a couple of weeks? When you ‘shock’ your system with something new your body may create a short-term reaction. The same goes for dieting and exercising, with what we call ‘plateau-ing’.
